- Liquid for making the Reprolit, the castable version of the mortar for making stone replica.
- Zinc oxide liquid specially developped for preparing the cast mortar Reprolit.
- Thanks to its considerable flow the product fills the mould into the smallest detail, which makes the system ideal for casting the most elaborate details.
- When desired the moulding can also be treated with acid, sandblasted, chipped, grinded and polished after hardening.
|Processing:||Mix the liquid into the granulates-powder with an electrically powered mixer at normal speed until a thin-fluid mass is obtained without any lumps. |
The mixing ratio is 100 g of powder to 35 g of liquid. Up to 10 minutes after being mixed the product keeps its maximum flow after which an increase in viscosity quickly sets in and the product becomes unworkable.
As the system hardens virtually without shrinkage it is advisable to pre-treat the formwork with an adequate form removal product even if it is made of silicone rubber.
It is recommended to leave Reprolit to harden for at least 6 hours before removing the mould.
It is also advisable to use a brass frame when casting huge replicas.
Tools are to be cleaned with water before the mortar is hardened.
