Technical specifications
Processing: | Take a sample from the substrate (betwoon 5 and 20 gr) by slow drilling or chisel. Grind if necessary. Weigh accurately. Place the sample in the pressure bottle, with the steel bullets and a calcium carbide ampoule. Close the bottle hermetically. Shake the bottle, so that the steel bullets break the calcium carbide ampoule. The humidity in the sample is in contact with the calcium carbide from the ampoule and forms acetylene gas. This gas increases pressure. Read the moisture rate on the manometer. Read the value that is mentioned with used amount grams. |
